BOOKKEEPER / HUMAN RESOURCES

We are seeking the right person to work full time as a full charge bookkeeper that can maintain and oversee A/R, Payable, GL and Payroll. This person must the ability to work unsupervised, have pleasant phone skills & familiar with Quickbooks and Microsoft Office software. Oversee human resources with insurance policies, interaction with employee issues and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Payables
    Work with vendor invoices matching purchase orders, shipper, invoice
    Deal directly with vendor discrepancies
  • Payroll
    Poll time clock, verify with employees and correct hours
    Enter data in Quickbooks and verify taxes and total
    Run ACH on direct deposit.
    File bi-monthly state & federal taxes.
    File medical, disability and misc insurance
  • Accounts Receivables
    Post receivables in MIS software
    Verify and match payments made on account.
    Handle discrepancies on open accounts balance each week
    Follow-up with clients on slow payments and discrepancies.
    Make collection calls on money owed
  • General Ledger
    Work with outside accountant to provide income, balance statement and P&L
    Maintain clean and accurate final file documents
    Interfacing with Accountant for year end reports
  • Manage Postal Account for Client mailing with the USPS.
  • Human Resources
    Work with employees and maintain accurate tax records and deductions
    Keep employment records on all staff
    Coordinate and write new job descriptions and manage records
    Solicit and compare annual insurance, worker comp policies
  • Printsmith MIS print management software

What you need to succeed:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Problem solving abilities and multitasking skills
  • Basic computer skills , excel, word
  • Reliable transportation

A degree is not required but some college experience in accounting is a plus. Starting annual salary $30,000 to $45,000 depending on experience, and medical benefits.

PRINTING SALESPERSON

To be a part of our talented team you must believe in your talent and ability to promote and sell our company and yourself. We have the tools you need for success with our staff and equipment we just need you. This is a full time position for a self-motivated, enthusiastic & confident outside printing sales representative to generate new sales and manage accounts in Northern California. Must be able to develop new accounts as well as grow current accounts. Experienced in printing or printing sales required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new B2B accounts through supplied leads and cold calling
  • Timely reporting of activities & tracking sales results
  • Developing and penetrating accounts through relationship building
  • Implementing consultative and solution selling strategies

Must be able to develop new accounts as well as grow current accounts. Your efforts will be rewarded by repeat sales and ongoing solution based strategies.
