TELEPHONE SALES/CSR

Job Summary

Establish a continued presence in the regional business community through active telephone, direct mail and e-mail blast.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Make routine daily telephone calls new customer & prospects - approximately 25 per day.
  2. Develop and maintain a telemarketing/mailing program for new customers.
  3. Manage timing of e-mail blast and direct mail.
  4. Follow up on quotes and review pricing for accuracy from quote as well as market position in area.
  5. Submit customer credit application on all new accounts
  6. Report any problems, questions or changes on jobs in progress. Forward information to CSR \ Operations, or management to determine course of action.
  7. Take job specifications from customers, passing specs to estimating and reply to customers with pricing and delivery times. Qualify that order matches to estimates and follow-up with estimating if orders need to be requoted.
  8. Submit weekly Call Reports for review
  9. Perform daily maintenance on existing and new accounts using both PrintSmith and CRM programs.

Additional non-related duties

  1. Assists office staff as needed.
  2. Answer phone during non- call times - 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  3. Advise management on any ideas or observations that will make us more efficient or profitable.

DELIVERY PERSON/BINDERY HELPER

Job Description

Finishing and packaging of printed goods prior to being delivered to customer. Pick up and deliver proofs & finished jobs to end users and daily trips with large mailing jobs to the post office, Perform shop cleaning and misc. shop & bindery duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Perform the following duties to prepare printed job for final inspection and delivery to customer: Drilling, padding, scoring, shrink wrapping, final packaging, labeling or working with other equipment.
  2. Follow information on job ticket. Report to Production Manager any problems or changes in following the job ticket.
  3. Performs quality inspection on finished products to ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Pick up and deliver finished jobs (may involve heavy lifting, have the appropriate delivery tools), Outsource jobs, COD checks, and proofs from customers. Obtain customer signature on delivery receipt
  5. Make notes on customer questions, comments, suggestions or complaints. Pass information to CSR.
  6. Gives out scratch pads and candy per marketing and CSR requests.
  7. Maintain delivery schedule on daily basis.
  8. Run other errands, pick up supplies for the office and other departments.
  9. Perform basic maintenance on delivery vehicle, cleaning when necessary.
  10. Responsible for all recycling products, cardboard, aluminum cans and plates, paper and disposal of ink
  11. Weekly sweeping of production floors.
  12. Daily trash pick up from all departments and in shop.
  13. Maintain supplies used and keep in supply room
  14. Pick up errant paper and trash outside building and around trash enclosure, stack pallets for recycling,
  15. Clean and maintain production area and warehouse.
  16. Must maintain a presentable appearance to our customers.

Equipment Responsibilities

Delivery vehicles – keep track of oil changes, tire rotation, new tires, general maintenance, and cleaning. Notify Production Manager of mechanical problems. Keep forklift charges and maintained.

Additional non-related duties

  1. Assist in other “odd jobs” at APi-marketing when not needed for deliveries.
  2. Assist in mailing operations and banding when needed.
  3. Advise management on any ideas or observations that will make us more efficient or profitable.
  4. Keep paper towel dispensers, toilet tissue replenished.
  5. Assist UPS with large pick-ups.
  6. Assist wide format department with banner finishing.

PRODUCTION/GRAPHIC DESIGNER

JOB DETAILS:

  • Create designs for print marketing materials like brochures, business cards, flyers, etc. and work with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the design
  • Designing marketing collateral for company within brand including but not limited to business cards, brochures, flyers, and website banners and icons.
  • Create custom designs such as company logos and design layout
  • Relaying and organizing online orders.
  • Output print-ready files to plates for pre-press
  • Occasionally, work directly with customers and clients on taking printing orders and design
  • Any other office duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be available Monday thru Friday from 9am to 5pm full-time
  • Must have AT LEAST 2 years graphic design experience
  • Have experience making company logos
  • Must have great customer service Must have a diverse intellect and ability for design
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and produce creative designs in a delegated amount of time (We need fast designers! Time is money!)
  • Knowledge of the following programs:  Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint)
  • Must be able to manage time and prioritize multiple projects at one time

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience working at a printing company
  • Experience working at a creative design, advertising, or marketing company
  • Degree in the graphic design field
  • Knowledge and/or experience in sales

BENEFITS:

  • Compensation: $13-$18/hour starting (depending on experience) + benefits after 90 days

PRINTING SALESPERSON

To be a part of our talented team you must believe in your talent and ability to promote and sell our company and yourself. This is a full time position for a self-motivated, enthusiastic & confident outside printing sales representative to generate new sales and manage accounts in Northern California. Must be able to develop new accounts as well as grow current accounts. Experienced in printing or printing sales required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new B2B accounts through supplied leads and cold calling
  • Timely reporting of activities & tracking sales results
  • Developing and penetrating accounts through relationship building
  • Implementing consultative and solution selling strategies
