You submit a video of yourself riding in both directions (all 3 gaits) and it gets input into a computer which evaluates your position and sends you a report of how you can improve (open hip angle 5 degrees for example). Not to be outdone, Sara Mosqueda, CDS Director offered a Painting Zoom party with Loose Brushes. Everyone got their paints and canvas out for an equestrian, patriotic painting session. Fun for all! To tap into our members’ competitive nature, we offered a Grand Prix photo contest. Sixteen Grand Prix photos were pitted against each other and members got to vote by “liking” a rider at each stage of the competition. Thank you to all of our contestants and members who voted. We offered voter awards and all contestants got an Equis-Mart Tack gift certificate and the final winner got a CDS jacket and gift certificate to Equis-Mart.
