Some have given much more than their share to ensure its preserva- tion for our ongoing pleasure (and yes, blood, sweat, and tears) and that of generations to come. In 2014 the Western States Trail Foundation Board of Governors, recognized the efforts of four individuals who have given back to the trail more than most anyone can imagine.: Chuck Mather, Chuck Gabri, Joe Larkin and Bill Johnson. These leaders, members of our Tevis family, are dedicated to the Tevis Cup and work hard to maintain the status of the ride as the best 100 Mile Endurance Ride in the world.
