CDS joins the Rose Parade CDS member Suzi Lanini and Just in Kayce participated in the Equisfest and the Rose Parade. Dressage Competitors Computing is an exact science. In an effort to maintain the highest level of accuracy in reporting scores, CDS requires that a competitor (rider and owner) show his CDS membership card when entering a CDS recognized show. You may attach a copy of the card with your entry or you may show it at the registration table at the show. The CDS membership card is your receipt of membership; please make sure you have yours. When you enter a show, enter it with your name exactly as it appears on your card, and be sure to check the day of the show that show management has you listed exactly as your name appears on the card; that you horse’s name is spelled correctly; and that they have you entered in the correct division, amateur, open or junior. If you send a copy of your card with your entry, it will help show management with name spellings and name accuracy. You may download a copy of your card under membership, from the CDS website at any time. http://www.california - dressage.org Dear CDS, Thank you so much for granting me a scholarship! This past summer I was lucky enough to qualify for the Southern California JR-YR Championships on my trainer’s young mare. The scholarship enabled me to be able to travel to the show which was held in Temecula. I was so honored just to be there amongst so many amazing riders. We ended up winning the Training Level 15-17 year olds Championship! It was an absolute dream come true! I can’t even express how grateful I am to have had this experience. Thank you CDS for all that you do! Your horse shows always have such a friendly atmosphere. I always love spending time at them, whether I’m cheering on fellow riders or competing myself.
